Questions from contractors
Can I bill a flat price plus extras?
Yes. Set the flat fee on the job, then add hours, mileage and expenses on top. Each becomes its own invoice line.
How is sales tax handled?
You set a default rate and can change it per invoice. Tax is applied to your services only; mileage and expense reimbursements are never taxed.
Does it write estimates?
No. Gildhour invoices work you have logged. Estimates stay in whatever you use today.
Can my crew clock in too?
Yes, with a company account: add your sites, invite the crew with a code, and see who is on which site. See the company features on the home page.
