Gildhour for truck drivers

Every trip, logged by the mile.

The dispatcher’s number and your number rarely match, and the receipts live in the door pocket. Gildhour logs each trip with the odometer at both ends, the pay for the run, and the fuel and tolls along the way, so the week adds up before the settlement does.

For owner-operators, hotshot drivers and local delivery drivers paid by the trip or by the mile.

Free during early access. No account, nothing to download from an app store.

1

Trip jobs

Mark a job as a trip and it asks for the odometer at the start and the end. The miles are worked out for you.

2

Pay per run

A flat fee per trip, an hourly rate, or a mileage rate: whichever matches the contract. Tips and extras have their own fields.

3

Receipts on the road

Fuel, tolls, scales, parking: add them at clock-out with a label. They export to a spreadsheet with the miles.

No account, no server, no one reading your pay. Gildhour keeps everything on your device and works with no signal. Save a backup file whenever you like, or export a spreadsheet for your accountant.

Questions from truck drivers

Is this an ELD or hours-of-service log?

No. Gildhour is a pay and mileage record for you, not a compliance logbook. Keep using your ELD for hours of service.

Does it track me with GPS all day?

No. It records a location only when you punch in or out, and you can turn that off. It never reads location in the background.

Can I keep two carriers apart?

Yes. Make a job per carrier or broker, each with its own pay terms, and export either one.

Does it work in the middle of nowhere?

Yes. No signal needed; it syncs nothing unless you choose Premium.
