Gildhour for field technicians & on-site support

On site, on the clock.

Eleven calls in a week, each with a drive, a start time nobody wrote down and a client who wants one invoice. Gildhour clocks each call where you stand, logs the drive between them, and bills the month in one PDF.

For IT and AV technicians, installers, repair techs and on-site help desk contractors paid per call or per hour.

Free during early access. No account, nothing to download from an app store.

1

Clock in at the site

Save each client’s site once. Every punch shows whether you were there, which settles the “you arrived late” call.

2

Travel between calls

Add the miles at clock-out. They become a mileage line on the invoice, kept apart from your labor.

3

Notes on every call

What you found, what you replaced, the ticket number. Notes stay with the shift and print on the invoice line if you want them to.

Labor is taxed at your rate; parts and mileage are not. Example figures.

Your hours stay on your phone

No account, no server, no one reading your pay. Gildhour keeps everything on your device and works with no signal. Save a backup file whenever you like, or export a spreadsheet for your accountant.

Jobs this fits

Questions from field technicians & on-site support

Can the company I work for see me?

Only if you join their company in Gildhour, and only during its shifts. Your own jobs and your location off shift are never shared.

Can I bill several clients?

Yes. Each client is a job with its own site, rate and invoices.

Does it track my hours for an employer?

That is the company tier: a manager adds sites, you clock in by location, a printed QR or a kiosk code, and the board shows who is on site.

Phone or laptop?

Both. It runs in any browser and installs to the home screen; your data stays on the device you use, or syncs with Premium.
