Gildhour for hospitality staff

Front of house, back of house, one clock.

Two restaurants and a hotel shift in one week, a pay stub you cannot check, and an overtime rule nobody explains. Gildhour clocks every shift, counts overtime the way you set it, and keeps your own record next to theirs.

For cooks, kitchen assistants, dishwashers, hotel front desk, receptionists, tour guides, festival and promotional staff.

Free during early access. No account, nothing to download from an app store.

1

A tile per workplace

Each place has its own rate, overtime rule and break habit. Switching between them mid-day is one tap.

2

A record you can check

Every shift with start, end, unpaid break and overtime. Compare it with the pay stub, and export a spreadsheet if there is a mismatch.

3

Tips, where they exist

Servers and bar staff add tips at clock-out. Kitchen and front desk leave the field blank and nothing changes.

An example week

Your hours stay on your phone

No account, no server, no one reading your pay. Gildhour keeps everything on your device and works with no signal. Save a backup file whenever you like, or export a spreadsheet for your accountant.

Questions from hospitality staff

Does my manager see my hours?

Not on Basic: there is no account and no server. If your employer uses Gildhour for the team, you join with their code and only the shifts you clock for them are shared.

How is overtime counted?

Per job, after the hours you set in a day, a week or both, at the multiplier you set. No hour is paid as overtime twice.

Can I log split shifts?

Yes. Clock out, clock in again later; each is its own entry and the calendar adds the day.

What if I forget to clock in?

Add a past shift with its start and end, or tap the day on the calendar.
