Gildhour for rideshare & taxi drivers

Know what a shift really paid.

The app shows a gross number for the week. After the miles, the number you keep is different, and nobody is keeping that one for you. Gildhour clocks the shift, takes the fares, tips and odometer when you stop, and keeps a mileage record that is yours.

For Uber, Lyft, taxi and delivery drivers who want their own record, not the app’s.

Free during early access. No account, nothing to download from an app store.

1

Shift clock plus odometer

Clock in when you go online, clock out when you stop. Enter the odometer at both ends and the miles are logged with the shift.

2

Real hourly after the drive

Fares and tips go in as pay and tips; Insights shows the hourly rate per shift and per week.

3

Records for tax time

Every shift exports with its miles, tolls and expenses to a spreadsheet. Set your own mileage rate.

Questions from rideshare & taxi drivers

Does it connect to Uber or Lyft?

No. You enter the shift’s totals when you clock out, which takes about ten seconds. Your record stays independent of the platforms.

What mileage rate does it use?

The one you set, in More, or per job. Gildhour does not give tax advice; your preparer will know the rate to use.

Two apps in the same shift?

Use one job called Driving and note the split, or make a job per platform and switch between them with a tap.

Is my location shared?

Only stamped on your own punches if you leave that on, and only on your device. Nothing is sent anywhere on Basic.
