Gildhour for freelancers
Bill the hours you actually worked.
A day splits across three clients and a retainer, and the timesheet you rebuild on Friday is a guess. Gildhour gives each client a tile: tap one to start, tap another to switch, and the invoice at month end is made of real minutes.
For designers, writers, developers, consultants and photographers billing by the hour, the day or the project.
Free during early access. No account, nothing to download from an app store.
1
One tile per client
Each client has its own rate, flat fee or both. Tap to clock in; tap another tile to switch, which closes one entry and opens the next.
2
Projects as well as hours
A flat fee for the logo and an hourly rate for revisions can live on the same job. Add a shift later if you forgot to clock one.
3
Invoices with terms
Your own number prefix, due in the days you set, tax on services only. Overdue invoices are marked, and a CSV export covers the accountant.
An example month
Three invoices, one per client, each made from the shifts you tick. Example figures.
- Client A, 14 h at $85
- $1,190.00
- Client B, 9 h at $110
- $990.00
- Client C, logo, flat
- $600.00
- Invoiced this month
- $2,780.00
Your hours stay on your phone
No account, no server, no one reading your pay. Gildhour keeps everything on your device and works with no signal. Save a backup file whenever you like, or export a spreadsheet for your accountant.

Questions from freelancers
Does it need an internet connection?
No. Gildhour works offline, so the clock runs on a plane or in a basement. Everything stays on your device unless you choose Premium sync.
Can I add time I forgot to clock?
Yes. Add a past shift with its start and end, or edit any shift from the timesheet or the calendar.
How do invoices get to the client?
As a PDF through your phone’s share sheet: email, text, AirDrop or save to files. Sharing marks the invoice as sent.
Several currencies?
US, Canadian and Australian dollars, euros, pounds, Mexican pesos, Brazilian reais and Argentine pesos.
